After starting at Eas Urchaidh (Fall of Orchy) it was a steady climb up through the forest to reach a small meadow near the Caledonian Pinewood Reserve. Eventually the path joined the side of a stream to exit the trees at the start of some steep grassy slopes leading onto the hill.
