Footprints Across Scotland
Why not make a few of your own!
9th September 2016
Beinn a’ Bha'ach Ard, starting at Inchmore near Struy, Glen Strathfarrar.
After walking along the estate road as far as Culligran power station I turned north along the track going round the back before heading west.
After clearing the trees I then took to the open hillside. In hindsight I think the better option would be to continue along the track and gain height following the Neaty burn before making for the ridge.
As it was I climbed rough heathery slopes of the knobbly southern ridge.
The morning mist eventually started to break up and the skies cleared as I gained the top.
It was more pleasant going over the tops before following the intermittent path down from Sgurr a’ Phollain.
