Footprints Across Scotland

Why not make a few of your own!

9th September 2016

Beinn a’ Bha'ach Ard, starting at Inchmore near Struy, Glen Strathfarrar.

Route Map

After walking along the estate road as far as Culligran power station I turned north along the track going round the back before heading west. After clearing the trees I then took to the open hillside. In hindsight I think the better option would be to continue along the track and gain height following the Neaty burn before making for the ridge. As it was I climbed rough heathery slopes of the knobbly southern ridge. The morning mist eventually started to break up and the skies cleared as I gained the top. It was more pleasant going over the tops before following the intermittent path down from Sgurr a’ Phollain.
